A Night of Gratitude for the Volunteers Serving Our Community
On April 22, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation gathered at Sausalito on Ninth to celebrate the volunteers whose time, leadership, and service make so many of the organization’s programs and initiatives possible.
The evening featured remarks from Foundation President Karl A. Bekeny and recognition of this year’s honorees, including 2025–2026 3Rs Teacher of the Year Joshua Soto for his outstanding dedication and impact in the classroom.
The reception also recognized Hugh McKay as the organization’s Volunteer of the Year. McKay will be formally honored at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Annual Meeting.
