Dispute-Away is a trusted source of help for parties wishing to resolve issues promptly, confidentially, and cost-effectively. Keith Ashmus, founder of Dispute-Away, is a nationally recognized leader in the legal and small business communities. He has served as President of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and has Chaired COSE (the Council of Smaller Enterprises) and the National Small Business Association. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s arbitration and mediation panels, handling scores of cases over the past two decades. Keith earned the credential of certified financial crime specialist from the Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists, and can serve as an advisor in investigations. A graduate of Michigan State University (B.A. and M.A.) and the Yale Law School, Keith was a partner at Thompson, Hine & Flory until 2000, when he helped co-found Frantz Ward, LLP, from which he retired in 2019 to engage in full-time neutral work. Dispute-Away believes in following fair and consistent processes so parties gain the most benefit from ADR. Users can expect their cases to move expeditiously, with emphasis on matching the activities and obligations of the parties to the issues at stake. Confidentiality is always a high priority. Where appropriate, remote systems of handling pre-hearing matters and sometimes hearings or mediation sessions are available.
