The Labor & Employment Law Section brings together attorneys and professionals representing a broad range of perspectives within the workplace, including plaintiff and defense counsel, management and labor, government agencies, and neutrals who resolve disputes in this area. The Section provides a balanced forum for engagement across roles, fostering meaningful dialogue and connection within this dynamic field.
Through regular CLE programming and monthly meetings, the Section supports ongoing education on developments in labor and employment law, including legislative changes, workplace trends, and evolving legal standards. Its annual Northern Ohio Labor & Employment Conference offers in-depth programming over two days, featuring timely topics and experienced speakers while providing substantial CLE credit.
In addition to its educational offerings, the Section contributes to the CMBA Bar Journal and supports opportunities for interaction and public service. Through these efforts, the Section promotes professional growth while strengthening understanding across the diverse perspectives that shape labor and employment law.
