Women in Law Section brings together attorneys and professionals to support connection, leadership, and advancement within the legal profession. The Section focuses on creating opportunities for engagement, professional development, and community-building among members at all stages of their careers.
A central part of the Section’s work is its signature programming, including its annual International Women’s Day event, which highlights leadership, storytelling, and shared experiences within the profession. The Section also hosts the Ice Cream Social, a well-attended event that creates space for informal connection and relationship-building among members. In addition to these cornerstone events, the Section fosters ongoing engagement through the Women in Law e-Community, providing a space for members to connect, share resources, and stay involved.
The Section also supports mentorship, leadership development, and student engagement through initiatives such as the Women in Law Student Alliance Subcommittee, which strengthens connections between law students and legal professionals and promotes inclusion within the profession.
Through its programming and community-focused initiatives, the Women in Law Section creates a supportive environment that encourages connection, visibility, and continued growth for its members.
